Mona Lisa Smile / Leonardo da Vinci / 1503-1506 / 77*53 cm

I choose this art is Mona Lisa Smile, it's

made by Leonardo da Vinci. I choose this

art because it use " sfumato " to made this

art look more like smoke. No line or no side

just look like smoke. This kind of skill made

Mona Lisa looks like float out from the art,

but also like fit into the art. And this kind of

gradient colors made her smile look like

and be in a long time but also look like will

change in suddenly. Also, I thinks even I

change any place to look at her she seems

look at me every time.

Genesis / Michelangelo Buonarroti / 1508-1512 /43*18 m

This is the fresco called Genesis was

made by Michelangelo Buonarroti .

He spent long time to finish this fresco.

I like this kind of fresco because you

can know the storys by the fresco.

I like the most is this part in Genesis.

It's the create of adam. I like the feelings

in this fresco. Adam's eyes full of believes

and thirst, and the god is commiserate. With

the touch of their finger Adam will get the

life.

Apprenticeship and workshops in the Renaissance

This is a site about the apprenticeship in renaissance.
I learned almost every artist spent half of this life to
follow their teacher. They first thing the students need
to learned is to be modest or maybe their teacher don't
teach them anymore. They need to cleen, buy the things
and prepare every thing for their teacher. They will learn
many different skills from their teacher. No matter what
they study hard their are just a few people can be great
master, and other of them just can draw a little part in
the art.

This is a site about a artist called Giovanni Bellini's life.
Befor he become a great master he work in his father's
workship. He wins his teacher after he knows how to
paint. In renaissance student want to win their teacher
they need to study very hard and help their master to
do anythings.

I think these artist in renaissance is very different then
now. They study very hard to try to be a great master and
overcome their teacher. They study drawing because they
want. It is very different then now. Student often is been
force to go to school, so they didn't learned very much.
The student need to try to convince their master to let them
study, so they can really learned. If you really want to learned
you will go to chase the chance by youself, so they can be
real master

The Brancacci Chapel

This is a website I found in the Internet.
I skim at all the sentence because there are
too many. Also, I look at all the picture of the
painting carefully. The painting in the Chapel
usually have their own narrative in. Like the
painting of Adam and Eve is Expulsion. I find
there are a lot of introduce of the painting.
I like the one St. Peter Preaching (Masolino)
I like the line of it. The back of this painting
is sober, but the thing Peter is talking should
be sacred. I think the maker want to shows
St. Peter is sacred.

This is another site of Brancacci Chapel. I
just read the top part of this site. I just skim
the down part. I like the picture in this site.
I learned Mrs.Carmel made the base of the
chapel, but most of the chapel were broke in
1771 years. Although most chapel were burned
by fire, the fire didn't burned the sacristy.

Mr.Michelangelo life in three different parts

" Early life, Mid year and final days". I learned

when Mr.Michelangelo in his early life is is an

famous artist. "Masterpiece" is a synonymous

to him. Then at the Mid year part Michelangelo

tried to refuse the commission of drawing for the

kingdom, but it isn't successed. In 1512 he already

paint 300 figures in Sistine Chapel. In 1541 he

made the biggest fresco in his life.

The Rondanini Pieta

In 1556, Michelangelo Buonarroti almost making this carve he love to do this at that time. Michelangelo almost design this statue every days and didn't sleep. He almost didn't sleep when he made this statue. This is a stutue that the mother love her son.

I choose this picture of statue to put on my blog because I think this statue shows the love of Mother perfectly. Michelangelo used that Mother want to protect her son so her body is a little curved.

Michelangelo Buonarroti

Michelangelo Buonarroti made this biggest fresco in his final life in 1541. It is a fresco of Dantesque hell. He made every body in naked. After 10 years, when the civilization is hindbound he draw his own picture.

I choose this picture becuase I think the painting in final life is dark style. There are many dark things in this picture. I think it signify his thought a lot. At the early life his painting is uasally light, but in the final isn't.

This is a great website with many painting

in Siena. I read most of the introduces of the

painting, look at each picture in this site. I

thought that most painting in Siena looks very

shinning, they usually put gilds in. Shows how

luxury they were. The line of gold are very
complicated but beautifully.

I choose the painting in this website called

"Madonna and Child Enthroned", it looks very

luxury because almost made in golds. I think

the gold on this painting want to that them

looked holy.I think the artist is very attention

to it. It is a painting of Jesus point his finger

to other to the neck of his mother's dress,

where the word mater that Latin means mother.

This is a painting in Siena called "Madonna

and Child with Angels and Cherubim". It is

another painting of the mother holding her

son. There are also many golds inlay on this

painting.There are packed with many people

in this one.There are other children under

the pianting I don't understand why they

were here. The woman touchs the baby's

face is a kind of passing their love to each

other. I like their feeling.
